Bianca di Angelo

I've been drawing Nico a lot recently, so I decided to draw his older sister Bianca. If you haven't read Titan's Curse, please don't continue unless you wish to be spoiled! (Although I don't understand why you'd be looking at this blog if you haven't read Percy Jackson.)

Bianca's death was one of the saddest in the series - not only because she was such a great character, but because of the effect it had on Nico. In the beginning of Titan's Curse, he was this cheerful little kid who was obsessed with Myhomagic. But after the end of the book, he wasn't the same again. Also, she chose to be reborn. Bianca di Angelo's spirit was gone forever.

When I read about her death, I thought somehow she was alive, after all, no body had been found. I hoped that she had survived by some miracle. But no. Why, Rick? Why?????

Ugh. If he kills off Nico, too, I will rip his books to shreds.

No, I won't. But you know what I mean.

Anyways, I hope you like this fanart of one of my favorite Hunters of Artemis. Bianca may be gone, but she shall be immortalized in our hearts.
